Bringing hope to vulnerable children in Kenya
Cherished Children Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Kenya. We work alongside families, communities, volunteers, and partners to provide holistic support that nurtures children's physical, emotional, educational, and social well-being. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to dream, learn, grow, and succeed regardless of their background or circumstances. Since our founding in 2010, we have impacted the lives of over 1,000 children through our comprehensive programs.

Why We Exist
Every child deserves the chance to dream
Many children in Kenya continue to face poverty, neglect, abuse, abandonment, hunger, and limited access to education and healthcare. These challenges rob children of their potential and hope for a brighter future. Cherished Children Foundation exists to restore dignity, protect vulnerable children, strengthen families, and create opportunities that enable children to live healthy, fulfilling, and productive lives. Every child deserves the chance to dream, and we are committed to making those dreams possible through our comprehensive programs and the generous support of our partners and donors.

2010
Foundation Established
Cherished Children Foundation was founded with a vision to protect and support vulnerable children in Kenya.
2013
Education Program Launched
Our education support program began, providing school fees, supplies, and mentorship to underprivileged children.
2016
Health & Nutrition Initiative
We launched comprehensive health and nutrition programs to ensure children receive proper medical care and meals.
2019
Community Outreach Expansion
Extended our reach to more communities through awareness campaigns, parenting programs, and economic empowerment.
2022
1000+ Children Impacted
Celebrated reaching over 1,000 children through our various programs and community initiatives.
2025
Continuing to Grow
Expanding our programs and partnerships to reach even more vulnerable children across Kenya.

It is with great joy and gratitude that I welcome you to Cherished Children Foundation. We believe that every child deserves to grow up in an environment filled with love, hope, dignity, and opportunity. Every child is uniquely gifted with incredible potential, and it is our collective responsibility to nurture that potential, protect their rights, and provide the support they need to flourish. Our commitment extends beyond meeting immediate needs. We strive to provide holistic care through quality education, healthcare, safe shelter, emotional and psychosocial support, mentorship, life skills development, and community empowerment. The impact we continue to make would not be possible without the unwavering support of our partners, sponsors, volunteers, donors, and well-wishers.
